Before registering for any convention, please read and understand our Refund Policy (see tab above) as your registration must be signed, and you must sign under "I understand the refund policy of the CJCS"
Any person, chapter, Royal Court, or individual may host a Crown Jewels of Canada Convention be it a local, provincial or national.
There are guidelines that MUST BE FOLLOWED and are available from head office.
Planning such an event is not meant to be a "money-maker" and all proceeds must be shared with "the Society" (information is outlined in the Planning Handbook.)
The first thing that one must do is consult with their regional representative to ensure there are no other large events being planned around the time of your.
A budget must be set and approved by the Regional Rep. and the Board.
It is recommended that you plan well in advance and depending on the location and size of your event, allow one-two years for planning.
We STRONGLY suggest that your planning committee be kept VERY SMALL.
You are better off with sub-committees.
We know from experience what works, or does not and are here to assist you.
